Emily Vance, MHA – Executive Director, CARCF
Emily Vance serves as the dedicated Executive Director of the Foundation, bringing over 15 years of experience in non-profit management and healthcare administration, holding a Master of Healthcare Administration. Her leadership is characterized by a strategic vision for philanthropic growth and a profound, personal commitment to senior welfare, ensuring that the Foundation’s charitable resources are deployed with maximum impact and efficiency. Emily works tirelessly to cultivate strong relationships with donors, oversee all fundraising initiatives, and coordinate directly with resident councils to identify and prioritize projects that align with the community’s greatest needs, such as the ongoing effort to fund the roof over “The Spot” shuffleboard court. She is the crucial link between the generosity of our supporters and the tangible enhancements that benefit every resident, driven by her passion for upholding the dignity and life quality of seniors.

Dr. Robert Lee, PhD – Chair, Resident Advocacy Committee
Dr. Robert Lee, a retired professor of Gerontology and a current resident, volunteers his extensive expertise as the Chair of the Resident Advocacy Committee, providing invaluable insight into the developmental and social needs of the senior population. With a long career dedicated to studying healthy aging and community support, Dr. Lee ensures that the Foundation’s efforts are always informed by research and centered on the residents’ perspectives. His role involves coordinating feedback sessions, assessing the usability and therapeutic benefit of proposed projects, and helping to shape the educational programming, ensuring that it remains intellectually stimulating and relevant. His deep understanding of the aging process makes him an articulate and powerful advocate for his peers, guaranteeing that the resident voice drives the Foundation’s strategic direction and philanthropic focus.

Michael Jones, CPA – Treasurer and Finance Chair
Michael Jones, a Certified Public Accountant with three decades of experience in corporate finance, volunteers as the Foundation’s Treasurer, meticulously overseeing all financial operations, audits, and compliance requirements. His expertise is crucial in maintaining the Foundation’s absolute financial integrity and transparency, ensuring that every donor dollar is accounted for and spent according to charitable mandates. Michael is responsible for reporting on fund distribution, managing investment strategies, and developing sustainable budgeting models that guarantee the long-term viability of the Foundation’s mission, including our scholarship and financial assistance programs. His commitment to ethical stewardship and fiscal responsibility provides our donors and the community with unwavering confidence in the long-term impact and sustainability of our charitable work.

Sarah Davis, RN, BSN – Healthcare Liaison & Scholarship Coordinator
Sarah Davis is a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and years of experience in geriatric care, who serves as the Foundation’s critical liaison to the healthcare center and manages the nursing scholarship program. Sarah’s clinical background allows her to provide expert guidance on projects related to resident health, such as advising on the most needed exercise and therapeutic equipment. Crucially, she coordinates the Tri County Tech Nursing Student Scholarship, mentoring recipients and ensuring that the Foundation’s investment in future care providers yields compassionate and highly skilled talent. Her dual role ensures that the Foundation’s work is constantly grounded in the practical realities of senior healthcare needs and the critical importance of fostering the next generation of caregivers.
